MOQdigital is growing and we are on the lookout for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Colombo team.

About the role:

The IT Systems/Infrastructure Service Desk is an integral part of the organisation. This business unit comprises of highly skilled individuals who are dedicated to their service objectives.

You will be working as part of a growing service desk team as a Systems Support Engineer providing support to our extensive client base. This position requires excellent communication skills, dedication and commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with Windows Servers 2003 to 2019

  • Working with MS Exchange, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPO Management, WSUS IIS & ISA servers

  • Lotus Notes Client configuration and application ( is desirable )

  • Working with virtualisation technologies

  • Working with networking technologies (configuration, security protocols, Firewall, WAN + LAN)

  • Handling MAC/ Linux/ CITRIX technologies

  • Handling Data Backup technologies

  • Working with Desktop Operating Systems Windows 7 to 10

  • Troubleshooting laptop and desktop hardware

  • Troubleshooting Print Servers and Print Queue related issues
  • Configuring Apple, Windows and Android phones

Required Background & Skills Set:

  • Tertiary qualifications (Degree or Diploma) in a related IT discipline

  • A desirable knowledge of ITIL best practices

  • Experience with O365 Admin Center and applications suit
  • A Microsoft certification such as MCSE/MCITP

  • Knowledge/experience on Microsoft Azure (AzureAD, Application Proxy, MFA etc.) is desirable

  • Be able to work on a 24/7 roster
