About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer/Associate Tech Lead who will be identified as a Technology Consultant – Application Solutions, in MOQdigital. In this role, you will participate in the delivery of end-to-end technical solutions from planning, designing to deployment using the latest Microsoft technologies as well as client engagement activities, including client presentations & thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, codes, tests, corrects and documents complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications, and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result
  • Develop and use of test cases (Functional and Non-Functional) and updating traceability records to trackback to requirements
  • Plan and perform all types of evaluation, in order to check that stakeholder and organisational requirements are met, choosing between formative and summative usability tests
  • Produce test scripts, materials and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services
  • Assist in the configuration of software and equipment and the systems testing of platform-specific versions of one or more software products
  • Take part in reviews of own work and peer review
  • Communicate and collaborate with primary contacts at client sites to identify requirements and define characteristics
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines to define technology objectives, assess solution options and devise architectural solutions
  • Work with the teams in all locations to ensure contracted services are delivered
  • Facilitate staff capability development by mentoring, coaching and recommending training needs
  • Work within the defined processes to ensure a high quality of delivery for internal and external clients

Required Background and Skills Set:

  • Degree or equivalent in qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Related Microsoft Certifications Mandatory Technical knowledge in:
    • .NET Core (for .NET specific role)
    • Azure IoT Hub or related, Containers, Azure DevOps (for IoT specific role)
    • Azure App Services, Azure Functions and API Management, .Net Web API, SOAP Web Services, MSSQL and NoSQL databases, XML, JSON, CI/CD
  • Sound Desirable Technical knowledge in Azure integration services (iPass), Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics CRM /SharePoint, UX Front End Development would be an advantage
  • A responsible person, self-motivated, pro-active and has a disciplined approach to work
